Stay away from the CD manuals, some details are missing and the illustrations are terrible. Only if you are interested in doing the most minor of procedures would the CD manual be OK and even then don't spend more than $10 for one. If you are serious about working on your MB then the hard copies are the way to go. I have all of the manuals for my W123 including two engine manuals, one for my diesel and one for my Euro gasser. It was a investment well worth the expense.
