Looks like it was premature to say that it was just the oil pressure sending unit. In the garage the oil pressure is fin with both the mechanical and electric guages. However, when I took it for a short drive the pressure would drop off to 0 under excelleration and then come back up when I let off on the gas or sitting still. This is indicated on both guages. I now suspect that its something in the pan when the oil moves around but I don't know what. I'll probably drop the pan this coming weekend unless someone out there has seen this before and knows the cause? It has me stumped. Craig
