Do a few changes with Mobil 1 it may take 5k-10k miles to fix it. Stay away from 0w-40, 5w-40 Delvac 1 or 15w-50 work. I have been using Mobil 1 for 7k miles now and it is helping but has not completly silenced the lifters.

Or just replace them, it is not to large of a job.
