Long story. This was/is the Graigslist car that is on another thread in the diesel forum...basically, it was a liability to the owner; they needed cash and to be rid of the car since the apartment complex where they live was threatening to tow it this week. I was there with cash and a solution.

Right now, the battery is DOA and the engine barely makes enough power to pull the thing out of the driveway, the insides look like someone has been living in it and the trunk is completely full of junk that needs to go to Goodwill.

On the good side, it starts easy when you jump it, there isn't any oil in the coolant, it doesn't have any death rattles and shifts great. I'm guessing a pair of fuel filters and I'll be rolling fine.
