I presume you are going to pay to have this checked out. If so your problem is in finding someone with experience on that model and MB in particular. Find an indendent that has been in business for more than ten years with more than half the cars in the parking lot Mercedes. Describe the problem, get them to drive with you if they don't see it.

Adjusting that transmission is not for beginners, especially if you are paying.
