My toolbox is well over 20 years old and could win the ugly toolbox contest in most any shop in America. When I moved to this place 18 years ago, my shop building had a dirt floor for the first year before pouring concrete. Then I didn't put poly under the concrete for a vapor barrier. The ground is very wet here so things were damp in there a lot of the time.

This year I converted my hay barn to my new shop and put poly under the concrete. I've kept an eye on it all year and it is a MUCH drier environment than my old shop.

Today my wife bought me a new 40 inch wide, 6 feet tall Rollaway, intermediate and top box. It is a really nice one with ball bearing drawer slides and maybe as much as twice the volume of my old "ugly toolbox contest" winner.

I'm tickled to death with it, and figure I must be taking care of the wife okay. I guess you learn to do that after 30 years.
