1999 E320 - Just changed oil (Mobil1 0W40)and used MB filter all for the first time myself. The only catch: the MB oil filter fit onto the black plastic mounting piece very very tightly. It was difficult to mount the filter onto the black plastic piece. I called the MB dealer and verified that I used the correct MB oil filter cartridge. Is this a common problem ? Will it slide off more easily when it is time to change oil and filter again ?
