Myself, I believe they acted alone. Building a bomb of that type does not require a whole lot of expertise - in fact goat farmers in the Middle East have been building ones just like them for years. In the trial they went into great detail on how they built it, for around $10,000, money they raised in a burglary of a gun collection. I also believe John Doe #3 was resolved to everyone's satisfacation. The trials of these guys consumed millions of dollars and man-hours by both the FBI and Oklahoma state authorities. I have a hard time beleiving any possible connection was not thoroughly examined.
