I have a German Benz that was brought into California in the mid 1980's. It went through all the BAR inspections and is tagged accordingly. I am trying to figure out how to properly time this engine. I have the Mercedes CD and the Haynes manual but both refer to the USA import that mine vaguely represents. I have no ERG valve nor air pump. How many degrees and is the vacuum connected or disconnected. There is no plate on the engine that identifies the setup.
