You know, here in south Florida, the ragtop stays down for weeks at a time. But, this time of year, when we get lil' cold snaps, the top stays up! The raising & lowering is "still" working; don't know for how much longer... but today it's still works.

I am thinking I'll get a 2nd opinion on this from another shop I know. And, nope, I can't say that I "trust" my mechanic all that much. Let's see what #2 says.
