I will try your recommendation to take out the front courtesy light. Is it just a pullout or do I have to unscrew it out. I will figure this out. And if not I will check the motor in the trunk.

I am a computer geek but I'm willing to try my mechanical skills. Any recommendations for changing the switch. Hopefully it's a no-brainer.
