I have been reading the forum for a few months, but have not found conclusive answers to my questions so I thought I would post my questions in one list and hope my questions and the answers I recieve help others out.

from reading I have determined I have the 11 speaker boise beta II system in my 94 coupe. maybe I am too use to having aftermarket systems in my previous sports cars, because the the radio sounds crappy. but I am giving it the benefit of the doubt since I can only listen to the fm radio because I do not own 1 cassette tape.

I am interested in replacing the headunit is there a direct drop in replacement, if so whats the name and model.

I am also interested in a cd changer that plays mp3's is there a direct fit for my car. also I have hunted around the trunk for the cable for the cd changer is it located in a certain sport that I am not seeing or do I have to dig the carpet and backing to find it.

from what I have been reading adding an after market system requires by passing the amp thats in the car and a few other things.

If someone could point me in the right direction to improve the sounds in my car I would be a much happier MB owner.
