EEEk.. I considered this too messy a job for me, also the potential of overfilling and goofing up the works. I took it to the dealer and paid them $200 to take the responsibility for it. There is a small little drain plug in the bottom of the pan, but most remove the pan, then you have to turn the converter to get to the drain there, some use a screwdriver. I change my oil and pretty much everything else, but the transmission is really a messy job, they powerflush it for that price too, I think it is worth it not having to deal with all the mess! Are you having the normal oil leaks those 104's have? I replaced a lot of seals, but I am now leak free! I just changed gas stations and upgraded to synthetic oil, I am getting almost 28 miles to the gallon! I think that is fantastic for such a cool car! The SL320 is geared for fun too! Good luck and Happy Benzing!
