That's exactly what I plan on doing. So far it looks like it can be done but it will be a tight squeeze. I was told by 2 Mercedes Master techs that I can. We'll see what happens on Monday.

BTW If I have to remove the tranny, then I will rebuild mine while it's off the car. It takes approximately 5-6 hours to remove and reinstall the tranny.
