Have you read about the 2 (?) Wisconsin (?) hunters who had yearly ritual venison dinners and who died of Mad Cow (deer?) disease? It was a hot topic around here a few years ago when Wasting Disease became endemic in our deer herds on the eastern side of the state. I had a friend who had eaten nothing but deer shot on his own property for probably a decade and when they started testing, his region had the highest infection rate. Not a pleasant thought.

Not entirely unpleasant. Providing, of course you admire nature for finding a small way to hand out payback..... But still a tragedy for the deer...........
