I just did this job on my 97 S420 last week...

According to Alldata the torque for the cam braces is 10 Nm and the torque for the valve cover bolts is 9 Nm. Those are the numbers I used and all seems well, no leaks, no nothing...

Part number for the valve cover bolt washers is 007603-006106. You'll need 18 and they're $0.44 ea.
