I have to concur on the pulled pork BBQ. mmmm. a few spots here in town are wonderful.

Hoagies. hoagies are known as subs or grinders elsewhere, but in pittsburgh, it's a hoagie. Primanti Brother's (say: prih-MANN-eez) makes 'em with fries right on the sandwich. drool.

Lobster in maine and new england in general... we got spoiled living next door to a lobsterman. $3/lb fresh that day. why eat anything else?

Beer. There are some good regional beers, and Yuengling is my fav. Lancaster and surrounding areas in southeast central PA have a great hometown brew.

Rasin Pie. generally available if amish or menonites are nearby. my wife tried to make one for me and ended up with rasin soup. So good when done right.
Southern PA and Northern MD....Amish Shoofly pie...........
