Thanks Geoff for your input. I haven't changed the MAF yet because it was intermittent and I didn't want to just "throw parts at the problem". It has been on for a few days now, so I will just have to see what happens. I found one locally for very cheap I may pick up tomorrow. I hope it works.

Interestingly, the light seems to come on when the temperature is lower, not when it's higher as yours seems to. We had a cold snap to 10 degrees F and it came on then. If there is no change in performance, the car is running well, good mileage, runs cool, etc, is there any harm in just continuing to drive it? We have not been driving it much because of the issue.
