Replacing front brake discs...

I am sure that the heavy vibration coming from my car when I brake is a warped or worn brake disc or discs. When the monsoons let up, I must replace the discs...I believe.
I am told this is an extremely easy job. Is it?
I have bought 2 new Bendix front calipers as the pucks were frozen in their bores (Pucks...Canadian, eh?)
and recently replaced these calipers and pads w/factory MBz pads.
Still, vibration persists. The discs are worn to the minimum thickness, anyway
So...

Is this job a matter of jacking the car up, whipping wheels off & hanging the calipers on a wire from somewhere and unbolting the discs. Is it that easy, or am I deluded?
