Stop light switches are a common problem. I recommend you scan for dtc codes because that will tell you what is triggering the light. Or if your handy with tools, swap in a new stop light switch, they're about $15. The switch is on the brake pedal. You will need to remove the underdash panel and the switch needs to be adjusted when installed.
