Having bought a 1987 300E a few years ago with 120K and running it to 160K, I would never do it again. Most of them need valve stem guides and seals around that mileage. Mine also needed the transmission rebuilt, and it went through 4 A/C compressors during that time. The straw that broke the camel's back was when the evaporator failed, requiring dash removal to repair. If you want it, then I'd say $2500 tops providing the A/C works.
