Today while driving I got the brilliant idea to adjust my seat of my 230CE while driving. It's a little tough to adjust while standing still. So as I was accelerating I reached for the side seat adjuster to move the seat back a little (mistake#1) the seat went back too far! It was to the point where I could barely reach the pedals and I'm 6'1! So as I got near the stop sign I started to brake while adjusting the seat forward (mistake#2) and wham(!) the seat lurched forward and I nearly slammed my gut into the steering wheel and the car nearly stopped suddenly. I'm not too embarrassed to tell all of you about this and I'm still laughing at myself at the stupid things I'm still capable of doing.
You mean you're 6'1 and when the seat is all the way back on your 123, you can barely reach the pedals??? I'm 5'8, 5'10 with shoes, and with the seat all the way back in the 300D, I can reach the pedals fine. But, maybe since yours is a coupe, that has something to do with it.
