WOW found the exact thread to read and still want your own?
YES the plugs are located on top of the heads, one on each side of the motor under the black plastic trim (underneath the air cleaner inlets).
The type of head on the bolts holding on the covers are called "external torx", you should be able to get these at Sears. I believe (not 100% sure) that the size of these particular bolts is called "E10" (this is how these fasteners are sized, numbers preceded by an "E" for External I guess. If anything it'd be smaller than a 10, possibly an E8, there is no E9 in my kit, i don't believe there is an E9.
Once the covers are removed the coils are under there, held down I believe with allen head screws. Remove the wiring from the coils, then the allen screws, and the coil pulls straight up and the plugs are then reachable. The coils are interchangeable, no need to keep them in any particular order.
I DO highly recommend using only the MB approved spark plug, I'd avoid any platinum tipped plug or other weird plug (such as split fire or multiple electrode plugs).
Be sure to torque the new ones in, and to set the proper air gap.
