I only like buffalo burgers I'm not too fond of the steaks I'm not sure why but I just don't like them. As far as beef goes I'll take a New York Strip over prime rib or tenderloin any day it the one and only thing I like that is cheaper than the other stuff.
My favorite burger of all time was a street vendor in Lafayette LA, I think his name was Papa Q or something like that, I was also fond of Luke's in Houston TX. I frequented both places when I was well past .20 BAL so I'm not too sure if they are as good sober but the hit the spot when I had a good buzz.
