i havent really given out much of an advice on this board.. but i think it would really be helpful to us "newbies" (perhaps).. and other lost souls to see the different view points on a certain topic.
Simply let the other person who doesnt want to listen to find out his mistakes (if there are any)... as long as you have spoken your peace... it is already up to the readers to digest it and either use it or not.
as far as the fiber optic is concerned.. i'm not sure if it is fiber optic.. but my center console lighting does use some sort of plastic strand to disseminate the lights to the various places...i guess it is something like a fiber optic.
