Any ideas on which cylinder it was/might have been?
My #1, for some odd reason, loves to nail. I think it has something to do with the EGR favoring that end the past 265k of its life...(not anymore

Was it one cylinder or was it sounding like multiples?
Could be a lot of things, but luckily it sounds like the problem has passed you by for now
