The Overvoltage protection relay has three functions;
1) Voltage supply to electrical components.
2) Safeguarding circuit of electrical components.
3) limiting overvoltages.
It certainly is possible that it could be causing your concern, maybe you could ask your mechanic to swap the one from there company c280 for trial?
