I was 'on call' for a neighbor whose health is failing. I helped with little repairs, picking them up when they couldn't get up and taking out the trash, etc. They finally couldn't manage at home and are in a nursing home. Have done similar things for others in the past.

I sometimes stop to help motorists with breakdowns, not as much anymore.

I hope that what goes around comes around. I tell people to pass it along to someone else who needs it.

I think your rules for your thread will limit its popularity. Who cares what you want in a thread?
