The glass portion of the right side view mirror is missing on my car. The plastic housing is still intact, and the electric motors still turn when I move the switch in the center console. What is the best way to get a functional mirror installed? Can I buy just the glass in some sort of carrier that snaps into place, or should I replace the whole mirror assembly? Is this a DIY job?
I've seen a complete mirror assembly on ebay for about $25. They say it fits '87-93. Mine is a 86... will the 87+ part fit, or does my '86 require a special part?
