The wife and I were walking back from the park with our dogs and a pit came out from some bushes and got nose to nose with our dog, both of them growling. We backed away and the pit stayed put. We called animal control, who didn't pick up. We called the cops, who said to call animal control. I told them we did that with no luck. They said they don't respond to animal calls, which is really funny because we just had about 4 pit bull attacks within the last year, one of them fatal. I told them "Hey, there was a small child playing in the front yard a few doors down, your call"

Never did see a cop.

I took to driving really fast up and down that street
