I did the electric fan upgrade on my jeep, and I couldn't be happier with it in terms of cooling and freeing up a few extra ponies. For my driving habits, a mechanical fan us useless about 90% of the time. I used 2 junkyard subaru fans, usually one is sufficient.

Cant wait to ditch the mechanical fan on my 300D.
