I am assuming that you can not open completly but can tilt up and down fine. There is a possibility of broken "angle bracket", usually when it brakes you can not tilt fully but it is worth a shot. You have to take the sun roof out or at least take the headliner out and then try to open it while observing the roof from inside. Normally it will pull one side more than other the roof pannel will cock and wo'nt move and clutch on the motor, due to overload, will start slipping.
