I believe the show is "Made in America" hosted by George Ratzenberger (Cliff Claven of Cheers).

Since I didn't see the show, I'm guessing, but it could be the Johnson Controls Optima battery, which uses technology different from conventional battery manufacture. It's a premium battery for a premium price ($150).

BTW, the conventional battery in my 98 Ford ZX2 is still original. Seven years and 140K later, it's still doing its job.
