This is a thread about forum ettiquette, and we have been recently discussing on another thread why folks should search archives and not just make up new threads; i.e. extra noise.
When I read a thread that has gone way off track, i.e. "highjacked," I understand better why someone would not want to read through all the irrelevant debris.
What does "Not to hijack the thread" mean exactly, when you do just that?
