I have been hearing a roaring noise from the car which I suspected was the transmission. I took the car to several shops and they tell me its' the fan or fan clutch. The fan clutch was replaced last year and the fan has all its blades. I did notice that the fan shroud is missing a large piece of its lower end. Will this account for the roaring sound?
