It says across the top " a Daimler Benz Product". Then below that is G. Daimler's signature. Mine has turned brown from age but I can still read it. It's basicly a sticker showing that the car passed the factory's quality check. For years Hondas, Subarus etc. had "OK" stickers on them. I don't know when Mercedes started using them. I know that MBCA sells them for about $1.50, but you have to be a member to buy from their "store". If you can get one, it's one of the cheapest things you can buy that gives the car an original look. Versus replacement chrome pieces and tail light lenses.
