There are two rubber bushings for the upper strut mount, exchange both! I did it yesterday and it cured an occasional "clunk" I had at low speed. Alternatively, the lower mounting of the hydropneumatic shocks might be gone. If that's the case, you need to replace them.
Are all links tight?
BTW I also replaced the accumulators with little improvement in ride quality, and there was some foam from the old ones too. But accumulators wear out, so it is no waste to change them, even if it was slightly premature.
