I did some search, and Here what I found.

- "the main problem with the m103 engine is valve seals/guides, and the main shortcoming of the m104 is head gaskets. Both these problems would seem to show up around 100,000 miles if I understand correctly"
- 300CE has more horsepower than the 300E
I still have this question, and I could not find an answer for it:
In terms of Reliability and long term ownership costs which are more important for me than the horsepower, which one should I choose? both have the same mileages?
I am trying to be DIY...too
