Code P0 441 is related to the purge valve under-hood. Mounted next to the w/s washer reservoir. Disconnected vacuum lines are common, remove reservoir & inspect. IF all are connected then MOST likely the valve is defective. MB part number 000-470-22-93. Sits on a rubber type mount & tha "MOT" on the top.
As far as the noise, the belt tensioner has been updated & a shock absorber added as they rattle a lot at idle.
