I bought one of those wireless weather stations from radio shack that also hooks up to a PC via a serial port. All the PC does, is log the readings to a data file as the sensors update. I have the full system with the rain guage, anemometer, wet bulb, dry bulb, indoor and outdoor temps. The anemometer is bolted to an unused TV antenna pole. thanks for the info... definately will look into it.. no barometer? plenty radio shacks around too, never crossed my mind to ask there... sounds like the whole system might be portable... yes?
