Yup, has a barometer as well, forgot to list that. It will also sound an alarm if the pressure drops quickly enough to indicate a severe weather event. I've never heard it go off though, so I don't think I really want to find out just what it will take to set it off. Methinks that it'll be telling me that I'm already screwed.

It's portable in the effect that it can be moved if you move to a new house. I have an older Oregon Scientific unit that is wired, that I cannot get the wires out of the wall, thanks to my putting too many wires down those holes in the wood in the attic. The rain guage quit working on that one. That one will be staying with the house.
