To test it you need to take it out and then apply 12V to one pin and ground to the other and you should hear it click, and feel it as well. Then you can spray some carb cleaner in there and kind of fill the tube and fire again you should see see a little squirt from the injector opening. Clean it and put it back in. If you want to see if the ECU is operating it then you need to wait til it is cold enough under 20 degrees I believe and remove it keeping the fuel line on it and turn the key to on! Without starting! You should see it fire, this is easier with two people.
