I'm probably going out on a limb asking this, but here is goes. I am a lover of classic American cars too, and my favorite being the old Studebakers. I'm working on a 55 president right now, I've done a lot of research on getting more power out of the their V8. I'd like to put a single turbo-charger on it, and just happen to have a junk 82 turbo diesel laying around with a good rebuildable turbo. I think the two might go together well. If anyone isn't up to speed on Stude's, the motor is a 259 ci OHV V8. With a waste-gate opening pressure around 9 psi I think it would be great, knowing the later studes with the supercharger had around 5-7 psi. Let me know what you guys think!
