I'm gonna go and say that is not true at all. Studebaker V8's are known for their toughness, and boost can be as high around 10 psi w/o innercoolers, and no damage to any engine parts. the comp ratio is also low enough, atleast with the 259 so detonation isn't a factor. I was inquering if the garret turbo would stand up to the gasser's heat
