I figured that would probably happen, 4.3 liter is a bit much for that turbo, if I used two that might be a different story, but I wanted to stick with one. I have talked to a guy (Ted Harbit) who has raced with stude engines for years. If you ever saw these engines you would understand how tough they really are. For such same displacment, they weigh as much as a BB chevy, very thick walled cylinders, heavy crank & rods. I have no doubt it can take 10 pounds of boost. I might think about beefing it up if i was going to race it, but thats not the case. I better stop talking about Studebakers, and keep the benz's. By the way....ever do a B2 piston job??? a got an 82 that needs one, and could use some pointers, trans is already out of the car.
