Is it necessary to periodically replace the voltage regulator with the brushes so the alternator charges the battery properly. With all my other Mercedes Benz cars it was a 5 minute job to take out two phillips head screws and put in a new one. I'm not sure it's as easy to do on the ML but I wonder how often it needs to be done.
