On a '96 E300D, just below the manifold, there is a black plastic cover. Open it up and there is the valve cover. Above the valve cover, there is a round flat black plastic piece that connected to a black tube. the black tubes are running along to the front of the engine and seems to be plugs into the valve cover. What are these tubes and the flat round object's function? And what is the name of these parts?
