The 2000-2002 E320's have a really good reputation. The crankshaft balancer problem is said to have been corrected in the middle of the 2000 model year.

Even still, if you have a car with the bad crankshaft pulley bushing, it is not terribly expensive to replace.

Last, the 4-matic system used in the W210's has proven to be a good system, unlike the poorly designed 4-matic system used in the W124's.
