On my 1987 300E that I am preparing for state inspection, I just today noticed that the Sunroof will not open. I can hear the motor operating when I push the open and close button but it seems not connected to the roof. Is there a way to open the sunroof without using the electric motor?... Pry it open or something?... or do I have to take out the whole headliner?
