I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but oil in the coolant looks just like what you have described. This is a typical sign of head gasket failure on the M103 engine. Coolant generally does not find its way into the oil on these and the engine will otherwise seem fine with no problems in the way it runs. The head gasket will simply have failed between the oil and coolant passage at the rear.
